JUST IN: Emeka Ihedioha Of PDP Declared Winner Of Imo Governorship Election

In what has been an intense fight to end familocracy and bad governance in Imo state as instituted by Governor Rochas Okorocha, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has just given a new lease of life to Imolites as he has just been declared winner of the guber election in the state after pulling 273,404 votes.
Making the announcement,   the State collation officer, Prof. Francis Otunta, and the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Prof Francis Ezeonu, read as follows:
•Total number of registered voters across the State- 2,221,008
•Accredited voters across the State- 823,743
•Valid Votes cast 714,355
•Rejected votes 25,130
•Total votes cast 739,485
Accord 6,846 (Ohakim)
AA 190,364 (Uche Nwosu)
APC 96,458 (Uzodinma)
APGA 114,676 (Araraume)
PDP 273,404 (Ihedioha)

HON EMEKA IHEDIOHA hav8ng pulled the highest number of votes and haven met the requirements of the constitution, is therefore duly returned elected.
